Volunteer Activities
This is a site for crowd sourcing transcription from documents. Over approximately a year and a half I transcribed for almost 11 hours from four collections. I mostly transcribed from the Civil War and Reconstruction Governors of Mississippi collection. Most of the documents were related to pardoning of people who had been found guilty and were incarcerated.
List summary of activity here. Taking photographs of graves and uploading them to the Find-a-Grave site. One interesting task was to take photograph’s at the Showmen’s Rest Cemetery in Tampa for a person who was part of a family with a human cannonball act!
